What is a spring nut?

A spring nut has a spring attached to the nut body. The spring holds the nut in position inside the channel before the bolt is tightened.
Spring nuts are useful for overhead installation, vertical support frames, trapeze hangers, wall brackets, solar supports, pipe supports and conduit support systems.
